Jeff if your looking more for up to the minute news events most trading sites have the Reuters news releases sometimes it appears quicker on the trading sites than the news site....lol Must be a wipper snapper technology thing, back in my day you bought the paper....lol
FX street is another site, there\'s a large amount of information in there, go to the trading corner at the top left of the first page. Banks and other companies update their moves for their day of trading can be quite useful of when you may want to take profit, if a large bank is planning a move in the opposite direction it may be worthwhile taking your profit and standing aside.
Use fxstreet a lot, yes, good resource. Have been using forexnews for a few things, will have to look over the site you mentioned over the next few days. Offhand, looks close to what I'm looking for.
Not sure where it's headed, so closed the trade for 26 cents profit. Whoopee, but I'll take it.
Probably bounce down, might see if I can grab a little of that... Oanda doesn't allow trades in both directions, so have to use one of my sub-accounts...

Will do, my email is privatetrader@safe-mail.net Fxtoday covers the news breaks that move the market, they are quick to get their information out as well, I\'m sure you noticed on FX street there\'s a delay of 20min or more sometimes, although FX today may not have up to the minute news but they deliver when it counts.
Nice talking to you, hope our conversation helped, you too \"B\"
I\'ll send you an email later on with my movements.
B the other thing I thought I would mention is I have a warning message because I posted in the wrong forum yesterday, glad someone told otherwise I would not have known. I\'m sure many people have done that before. All the info I was sharing with Jeff was free and of course for anyone else who was reading.
Good on you for being alert to unrealistic efforts of others, but I\'m sure you\'d be one of those people claiming to be a man\'s best friend if he could make you a buck.
I might be old now but I reckon I could still teach you a thing or two.
lol your welcome....it would even pay for you to maybe write a check list of items to check each day you enter a day trade, this way you are unlikely to miss any thing out of the ordinary. Just a tip.
Eg beginning of the week, make a note of the news releases due through the week, which holds the level of importance and which ones do not. Events that have occurred over the weekend, fxstreet, in their recent news section will give you highlights of this, and of course where the market closed on the previous Friday.
Each day, check the news due for your currencies you are trading. What time due etc, what the market expects, forcasts and actual etc. This will also give you the indication of when a move is likely to happen.
Oil, weather, reserves etc
the previous day\'s high and low.
Pivot points, oversold and overbought points
3 levels of support and resistance points in each direction.
Does that help some more...........lol I did tell you I like talking about trading.
Yes, helps, and I have a lot to digest, thanks!
Some of it, I already have a handle on, but, to be honest, I don't document much. Although I've seen so many people suggest it, I'm sure I'm missing something.
Appreciate the assistance, hope you don't mind if I bug you now and then. Experience is showing, lol...
