Before I head off just wanted to say to make sure you post that you've been paid by compactsurfing if you've put in a cashout request. Also, just found out you can upgrade as many times as you want as long as your total upgrades dont exceed 10,000 USD total in your account, and I figure this is set into place since there is a limit of 3 cashout requests per month anyways. Not to be demanding or anything but what do you guys think about them increasing referral commission to say 9% (9% for 9 day upgrades ) to encourage more to join and also provide greater incentive for members to reupgrade? I dont think it would be detrimental to their maintaining a constant revenue stream if they offset the increase in referral commission by implementing a fast payment option once the membership grew to a large amount that would charge a withdrawal fee set at a certain percentage to be competitive but at the same time bring in revenue for the site.
What do you all think?
Heres my analysis with #’s to clarify what im saying…
On the main page of the site right now, it states “Request Payment and get paid within two business days.” Under this payout schedule which applies to all members right now, lets say you have an upgrade of 10 USD and you have a downline that upgrades maximum 10,000 USD. At current 5% ref commission, you would cashout 511.70 dollars (principal plus 17% earnings on 10 USD upgrade plus 5% ref commission). After your downline's upgrade expires, he would cashout 11,700 USD (principal plus 17% earnings). Total Cashout:12, 211.70 USD Net in Earnings plus Commission that site has to come up with to payout: 2201.70 USD Time to Pay Out Both Members: 9 day upgrade plus 2 business days, so anywhere from 11 to 13 days considering weekend overlaps
Now lets say payout options are adjusted a bit. Payout within 48 to 72 regular hours would be considered a fast payment option with a withdrawal fee. Lets assume there are diff. withdrawal fee rates for diff levels of cashout: 1.5% for cashouts between 10 to 2500, 2.5% for cashouts between 2500 to 7500, and 3.5% for cashouts 7500 and above. Regular payment option would be within 5 to 7 business days of upgrade expiration and would be free. Now lets also say referral commission is bumped up to 9%:
Taking the aforementioned scenario, you would earn 900 USD in referral commission from your downline who maxes out at 10,000 USD. Your cashout on a 10 dollar upgrade would thus be 911.70 dollars. Your downline's cashout would still be 11,700 USD. Total Cashout:12611.70 Net in Earnings Plus Commission that site has to come up with to payout: 2601.70 USD
Ahhh...but theres the withdrawal fees. If both members wish to cashout with the fast payment option put into place, Compactsurfing collects the following in fees from each member’s individual cashout:
Your 911.70 USD cashout: approximately 13.68 USD in fees at 1.5% rate
Your downlines 11,700 USD cashout: 409.50 USD in fees at 3.5% rate Total revenue collected by site in withdrawal fees: approx. 423.18 USD Actual Cashout to both Members: 12611.70 minus 423.18= 12,188.52
Time to Payout both members: 11 to 12 days
I hope that shows to all of us that if these suggestions are considered by the administrators of the site that it would actually work out for the benefit of both the members and the site in the long run according to the calculations above; the admin would actually have to payout LESS to the members then under the current payout and referral commission structure (23.18 USD less to be exact)...
I dont think the withdrawal fees as offered in my scenario above are outrageous considering the complaints many are making about the fees associated with Phoenixsurf's fast payout option now for example, and I dont underestimate the technical know how of site administrator's that are able to design a search engine to also be able to implement two different payout schedules *regular and fast* into the site's script

No no no rose there is no withdrawal fee implemented with Compactsurfing right now, my post above was just a suggestion in consideration of the possibility of increasing the referral commission to 9% for all members to help draw more attention to the site and at the same time implementing two different payout schedules, one being a fast track that generates revenue for the site through withdrawal fees...its just a suggestion I dont know if itll be implemented but from my calculations it seems to be fair enough and would work
So apparently we can request cashout 3 times a month as long as our cash balance is over 10 bucks...
What that means is lets say you purchase 100 upgrade units for a total 1000 USD, well, each day you surf your cash balance would go up by 130 bucks, so at the end of the 9 days, your total cash balance would be 1170 USD.
Ahh but lets say you have a few referrals that upgrade on the 3rd day of your upgrade's 9 day surf cycle. And lets say you get 400 dollars total in commission from them...well, with compactsurfing, this request cashout feature would allow you to request that 400 dollars out of your cash balance before your upgrade cycle expires, so that you can have it in your egold account to either withdraw to your bank or just have it ready to reupgrade your account once your upgrade expires. Really nice feature in my opinion, gives you way more control of your funds guys.
Also, the site apparently detects IP addresses very well, so that after creating an account, you cant click on 'sign up' from the same computer and internet connection to recreate another account. A dialogue box will pop up if you try to do this informing you that only one account is allowed per IP address. This will save the admin alot of headache and potential problems in the long run because they wont have to worry about multiple sign up and scammer issues.
