Who does and does not believe 20% - 40% a month is possible and why do you believe this?

A good trader for forex earns about 800-1500 pips / month. (80-150%)
Because it is very stressful to double your money every month.
They normally, trade for 1 year and take a long vacation after that.
After they have enough saving they usually trade 1 per month only.

If you ask them to play for you, they noramally take 50% of your profit.
(They only take commision if they are positve number end of each month)

50% seems high, but noramally they have no problem hitting 1200 pips/month
Or 120% returns.

People setup a Trust account for them to play...( usually min. $100K per account)

Of course it is possible.

I'll show you how to get 40% net profit in a month.

This is based on you getting 10 pips a day and risking 5% of your bank.

If you start with $1,000 and risk 5%... that's $50

Divide the $50 by your stop loss which is say 25 pips = $2.00

So you will trade $2 each trade. By the time you get 10 pips profit for the day, you have $20 profit.

Do that for 20 days and you have $400 net profit in one month, which is 40% of your $1,000 starting bank.

Do you think you can get 10 pips profit in a day, by using a 25 pip stop?

OK, how about 5 pips a day?... that'll give you 20% profit a month.

I've got an account that is trading automatically with a trading robot.

That has had about 60 trades in the last 7 trading days, and has had only 3 losing trades. It is up 30% in profit. It's gone from $10K to $13K in just over one week. I'd be happy if it gives me 30% a month, much less a week.

Its very possible and quite easy, but what this says above is some wild imaginative story. Sounds good though.

it's possible and More..
just takes alot of knowledge and discipline.

I'm pullin in positive pips almost every day..sometimes a little sometimes alot.
If the trades aren't there, u don't force it..just come back later

Even I have achieved that! lol

And I believe anyone can because:

A) I have (only twice before)
and
B) If you wager a fifth of your account balance each trade, you need 100 pips profit a month - If you trade from monday to thursday, you normally just have to get 7 pips every trading day which is nothing.

P.S. How much SHOULD I be wagering for each trade?
