I hope that the authorities pursues ever fraudulent claim and everyone who made a profit. IMGO that is the only way to stops these scams.
"Perhaps. The law and precedent in such cases permit, in some circumstances, a Receiver to seek reimbursement of funds paid to an investor/member in excess of the cash amount invested. The Receiver has not yet determined whether to seek such relief in this case."
Cujo, hope you had a complete recovery. How many times do I have to tell you that I have no association with SP in anyway. I do have some previous experience involving the workings of the court and the responsibilities of a Receiver.

Perhaps you did not notice that his claim was from half a year ago. I believe that translates into 6 months. The AS's and reciever stuff began in the last 3 months. Could you imagine that sp was possible up to no good before the reciever. BBB, and the FBI came into the picture.
If this persons troubles started before all this fiasco, what does that have to do with you links?

That person may or may not have a legitimate claim and that will likely be unraveled by the Receiver since the process allows the claimant to contest any decision that they should feel is unfair or that shouldn't have been included in this fiasco. After all the claims process is subject to approval by the Court.

Re: How come Stormpay is classed as a scam?
I still do not see where the courts or the reciever has anything other than 12dp interest being looking at.
Seriously. the reciever is working on 12dp. No other AS, or account or scampay. I would be delighted to see scampay go under the direction of the courts. Until they do, they are in for law suits, charge backs....or what not. People don't just run to big brother over Walmart selling them defective merchandise. People just take it back to the store for exchange or refund.
If someone made a profit in 12dp and charged back, that is their BAD. If they had money in scampay that was not profit, or like many had nothing to do with 12dp, they have every right to do what it takes to get it back.

That should be "they have every right to do what it takes to get it back legally." If what you say is true the why would the Receiver have said this?
Quote:
...While he will be dealing with Stormpay as a vendor to the defendants he is not currently authorized to take any actions on behalf of Stormpay members. For additional information please go to the SEC site http://www.sec.gov/investor/pubs/cyberfraud.htm or contact the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions through http://www.tennessee.gov/tdfi regarding any auto-surf program or payment processor that you have used or intend to use.

The Receiver is pursuing any and all funds that may be held by Stormpay or any other payment processor. While there are many statements, rumors and estimates of how much money is available, the actual amounts of funds available is not yet known.
