Default Anyone use Forex United?

As a newbie to FOREX I am interested in a site I came across, Forex United...It offers a managed fund facility for inexperienced investors..I imagine that by attracting many smallinvestors they will be able to invest in FOREX markets...Anyone whats the go with these guys, the site looks good and it looks reputable...I would appreciate any feedback on this company.

Thanks

Sounds like a football club.........why pool traders when you can trade with $500.........doesn't make sense to me - or maybe you would rather have someone to blame when your money is flushed down the drain........

Ragsie he didn't say whether it was a pooled account (illegal) or a managed account (legal)

Pooled accounts are just HYIP's like the rubbish over on the right, whereas managed accounts are for investors who don't have time to trade/learn themselves.

Managed accounts generally will return about 8% to 20% a month, with the "Manager" keeping 25% to 50% themselves. With a 25% account there is normally a set monthly fee also. With a 50% account the manager gets nothing if the account has a negative month.

Pooled accounts are for dummies who don't know any better, and these accounts usually go broke within a month or so.

ahhhhhhh - gotcha! I am new to this HYIP stuff - 4x is now old hat but these other programs and money ideas......must admit it makes for interesting reading but I would never trust anyone else with my money. I bought into some well known mutual funds when I sold my apartment in 1999 and 2 years later had a minus of 50% - so then I decided to only trust myself to invest in interest-bearing bonds and for the last year forex as it is cheaper than physically moving money between interest bearing savings accounts (EUR to CAD/USD and return).

all hyip = scam. Nothing more.

Managed accounts are risky coz frankly anyone can stuff up any day of the week and take someone down with them. Best thing is to learn yourself. If you can't do that, go and flip some burgers and save to buy an apartment to rent out.

This is a pretty dumb thing to say..People all over the world put their money in the hands of professionals in a variety of fields to make money..ie stockbrokers, financial advisers etc...it is not always possible to learn everything about everything thats why there are such things as managed accounts..Perhaps this is the reason I am asking if anyone has used these guys or still are so I can get some insight in to their operations etc..I find the concept of managed accounts quite appealing, it allows me to invest small amounts of money into FOREX with someone who knows what they are doing...and assuming you go with the right group or person then you just take the losses as the come and the profits also. I will slowly learn and start doing my own but as a start I'm sure there are people that can do better than me..By the way since I first posted I've read some very positive articles in HYIP monitoring sites. Flip burgers..why dont I flip my finger at your ear.
