VirtualMoneyInc card > Paypal frozen account
Hi,
I had a bad experience today with my paypal account. It was created 2 weeks ago (non US account) and verified with entropay virtual visa card. No problem, I received payments, it was ok.
But today I decided to withdraw my money and added a virtualmoneyinc card to my account.
In the next 2 minutes, my account was frozen and Paypal is requesting the usual list of docs to verify ID, address, bank statement, etc...
By experience I know that the account limitation will never be lifted, so I don't even try to submit these docs by fax.
Did anybody else meet the same problem, or am I alone in this case ? I know that there are many reasons for Paypal to limit my account, but the fact that this limitation came 2 minutes after adding the card as a bank account make me think that there is something wrong with it...
thx
K

I have a similar account and added VM Card to it. No problems. Have withdrawn already some 2500 US$.
PP has never a clear guideline when or when not to limit accounts. In you case I would say that you were already on the suspicious transaction list for something and adding an US Bank account as a non US customer was the last drop to limitation.
BTW, PP opens limited accounts very easy if they only ask for utility bill or supplier names and telephone numbers. I have two accounts that were limited and restored and are running fine.
But if they ask for too much information then they will never open it again.

Re: VirtualMoneyInc card > Paypal frozen account
The mistake most people make is trying to beat the Paypal system. First of all you added a Virtual Credit card, so that will raise a red flag. If you had used your real credit card you would have been ok.
I will also like to add that your paypal account was not frozen BECAUSE of VirtualMoney Inc (VM). It is because of your own doing. Once you use this card correctly you will have no problems.

And all of you out there don't think Paypal fraud department constantly checks message boards and threads like this one ? You must be seriously stupid to think that Paypal people have not already purchased every single type of virtual card you guys are selling and it's only a matter of time before Paypal looks into it further and decides to blacklist the whole issueing banks. It already happened to money-around-the-world.com cards and it will happen to all the other cards. Verify a Paypal account with false credentials is obviously illegal, now if you're using proxies or keep logging in your PP account from a different country than the country it was originaly registered with you can expect your account to be limited or suspended altogether.

Re: VirtualMoneyInc card > Paypal frozen account
so the problem comes from the fact that I open a non us paypal account with a us bank account ?
I don't understand why they flagged me and not the others as I used the account without any risk or fraudulent activity as they say... Just used a VCC and a debit card for bank account. A lot of other people, in this forum for exemple, use the same tools for their paypal account but they are not suspended. So I would like to know why, that's why I am asking if you have any idea.
What is strange in this case is that after adding the card, they sent me an email 2 minutes later asking me just for an utility bill, and the account was not totally frozen (I could receive payments). But 3 hours later, I received another email with the usual "end-of-paypal" docs requests, and full limitation on my account.
Thank you for your advices about using my own CC and bank account. I know that. I was using paypal for 3 years without any problem, with an US business account (I have a company). But in february their user agreement changed and they requested me to provide a SS number. As I am not us resident, impossible to do that. So they closed my us business account, and some months later my personal french account. For a so stupid reason I think it is quite unfair, and they are absolutely not opened to listen to my explanations...
That's why I am trying to cheat them now because I need Paypal for my activity, but I can't register any account on my name anymore... I am even ready to buy a verified and working paypal account !

I have to say I think the same thing as you! Of course they are! I am sure that they have bought cards from every single one that sells on this forum and others. PayPal sucks but I like it anyway. Why? Because they have 100 million accounts and 90% of all eBay members use it as payment method that's why! eBay and PayPal is the same company as everybody knows. Even if eBay start a new payment system it will be the biggest in the world! eBay have so much power that they can make anything come possible! And why dose they have so much money? Because they are crooks! That's right! They limit 100s off PayPal accounts everyday! And eBay always over charge you for your auctions. Sure it's only like 0.5 cents! But think about they have like 50 million accounts! 0.50 cents x 50.000.000 = 25.000.000 millions a day! I would be happy if earned 99.9% less a day! I would live like a king for that down here! Even under a whole month! PayPal can also do whatever they want because they are not a bank. That's why they can do as they want! When you sign their User Agreement it clearly says. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIITED YOUR ACCOUNT AND TAKE YOUR FUNDS ON HOLD UNTILL FURTHUR IVESTIGATION WHENEVER WE WANT.
Maybe not exactly like that but something like that! But what can we do? Nothing! They are so big and so powerful we can’t do anything about them!
They are crooks end of story!
Best Regards
Douglas

Re: VirtualMoneyInc card > Paypal frozen account
you are right douglas. But I am struggling. I have been working with Moneybookers on ebay for the last 3 months and now my customers are better and better with it. But for sure 50% of the people on ebay are brainwashed and think that only paypal is a safe way to pay...
