March 16th - 31st, 2004 - Octavian Holdings Refunds members and more* An email is going around from: alexgoldrating@hotmail.com claiming that he can increase your rating at any rating sites. We have been informed by several rating sites that if your program is illegally voted on, they will remove your listing and let everyone know that your program is a scam (including us). It is highly recommended that you do not use this guys service. Goldrater has informed us that they have already removed several programs and have decreased the ratings on others. * About a week ago Talkgold's admin Panel was hacked. The hacker gained access to the mass mail feature and subsequently mass spammed all Talkgold members. Please realize that Talkgold did not send this mail, and that Brian has secured the script to prevent this from happening again * Weeklygold looks as if it can be classified as a scam. Mario has not been in contact with anyone for several weeks. He has claimed that he will be processing refunds this week. We have yet to see this happen. There still is some hope, but as each day passes the little glimmer of hope fades away more and more. * Octavian-Holdings has completely refunded everyone in their last program. We do not see this too often in the HYIP world, and in our opinion this shows the admins honestly. Dan has started a new program which members will have to re-register for. * Forex Invest seems to have stopped paying its members. Around for several months, this comes as a surprise to many people. We feel that they are gone for good. * HYIP.org has stopped making daily payments. There has been no word from the admin as to what has caused the problems. In our view the program is gone and was simply a ponzi scheme that did not last very long. * SBets is no longer accepting new investors. As for old investors they claim that they will continue to pay. We will have to wait and see. * E-gold Stock also quit paying its members. Looks as if they are yet another scam. * Infinite Financial Group is having some very serious financial problems. After paying for over 11 months their rates have significantly declined. They have been highly rated on many respected HYIP rating sites, however the last 2 months have not been good. Hopefully they can make a comeback. We will all just have to take the wait and see approach. * Last week we stated that Infinite Financial Group was in serious trouble based on their returns. We appologize but this was our mistake. In fact their payouts have risen each month since December. December's payout was a mere 11%, while it rose to 16% in January and a hefty 18% in March. This program has been around for a good amount of time, and their payouts seems like an honest rate. * Mario, the admin of Weeklygold.com has re-appeared and has stated that he will be performing refunds to Weeklygold Members. The refund process will take quite some time, and those member not in profit will be the first ones to be refunded. Once again DO NOT hold your breath. Mario has done this before and could be dragging us all along once again. * Foreign Fund is still in the process of moving accounts to ff-bank. Hopefully the move will be finished very soon. * The Admin of FXNation has said that he is having some major difficulties in coming up with the funds to refund all members, but will still try and make good on his word, and refund. This will probably take time, and no one can be sure if refunds will be made or not. We wish the best of luck to the program Admin and the investors of this program. * E-gold has announced that they will be having downtime for maintanance on April 1, 2004 from 7:00 AM EST until 8:00 AM EST. We all know these updates can sometimes take a little longer, but this one shouldn't be much longer then an hour or so. * GoldTrader.com (an exchange service) is back online after having some rather hefty DDOS attacks on their server. * ComShares was experiencing some downtime a couple days ago. However they are now back up and fully functional. * Global Invest is the latest HYIP to be hit with a Cease and Desist Order from the State of Pennsyvania. The admin of this program has yet to comment on this matter, and we do not know what type of effect this will have on the actual program. * Gem Investments, a program that also had a Cease and Desist order put on them a few weeks ago, is no longer online. Whether this has to do with the legal action or not is not known. We will keep you updated. * Octavian Holdings, a program that has been around for a very long time, has refuned all members not in profit, and closed all accounts. They however have reopened with new investment terms that pay 4-14% Weekly until you recieve 400% return. Dan Dremos (the admin) has seemed like an honest person in the past so this program may end up being a success.
