May 1st - 16th, 2003 - Closure of Daily Shares, Nautilus and Gold Universe* DailyShares.com appears to either have a script error, or may be starting to run out of funds. Many members are reporting not getting paid everyday of the month anymore. Also their site has been going down frequently. We will keep you updated on further information on DS. * HiFi Gold appears to have shut down. Their site has been down for several days now, and the admin has not contacted their members. Right now it appears they have turned into a scam, but we will keep you updated. * A hacker has been going around, hacking into various HYIPs. The Hacker's E-Gold account name is "ForexMan". He has hacked several HYIP's e-gold accounts and tried to decieve them by putting "50% Monthly Program" in the memo, when he sends funds to his account. * GoldUniverse has had spam problems, and in turn their hosting has been suspended. Also their site has supposedly been hacked. Here is part of a message from the admin of GoldUniverse:"We are extremely sad and disappointed to let you know that our accounts have been hacked and we cannot access our funds right now. We do not know whether this has been done by the spammer or someone else to drive us out of business. Having said that, please do not send any funds to us, until we say so, as the hackers will collect everything and we mean everything." Sure doesn't look good for investors who have a lot of money in GoldUniverse. * WeeklyGold.com was also hacked earlier for a small amount of money but it was enough to lower the weekly payout to 3.43% last week. They have supposedly caught the hacker, and are planning on taking legal actions if the money is not returned promptly. For more information on this matter, visit WeeklyGold.com's folder at Talkgold.com. WeeklyGold.com has also increased it's security by adding a turing number to it's login page. * DailyShares.com, HiFiGold, GetWeeklyProfit all seems to have closed up. A lot of people lost a lot of money in these programs (especially HiFiGold and DailyShares.com). We expect to see some people gathering to proceed with legal actions toward these programs if they can dig up enough info. GetWeeklyProfit claims that there was a DOS attack on their server, but they have been down a bit long to use this as an excuse. Who knows, maybe they will be back up afterall. * European Investment club, Atlantic Invest and STX's sites were both down earlier this week. Both sites are now back up and running though. * GoldUniverse appears to be gone for good. A lot of people lost a lot of money in this program, but on the other hand this one also made a lot of people some good money. It's all about getting in early. If you got into Gold Universe when it started, you would have made a whole lot of profit. * WeeklyGold.com has announced that they will be coming out with a Batch game and e-gold lottery possible later this week. * GetWeeklyProfit appears to be back up and running after a scare. Many people thought that they lost their money in this program, but it was just having server problems. * Bonded Investing's site is down due to spam problems. An individual sent spam emails out with their URL (Bonded-Investing.com) on it and in turn the host canceled Bonded Investing's plan. They however hope to be back up and operating this weekend. * Supreme Power, has temporarily stopped its payments due to the fact they are updating their software that runs the site. Payouts will resume on June 1st. * Liberty 03 has announced that they are holding off on payments until they can build their reserves up to an adequate amount. Many of their investments have failed and they need to regroup. Whether they ever start paying again or not, will be determined. * Aquafootball has decided to go private with their program. They are also now using the Ezy-HYIP software, which should make payouts and database control a lot easier. * EIDC is still paying out, but is considering changing their payout structure. * GoldUniverse, has closed up, but they are in fact preparing to relauch their program on June 1st. Looks like they are a reputive company after-all. They were one of the many sites that were shut off due to a spammer, but it looks like they have overcome it. * Gold Storage is back up and running after experiencing downtime due to an overload of spam on the server that their site was hosted on. * Bonded Investing is also back up after downtime due to a spammer. If you were a member of them, you should now be able to log into your account. They also claim that their code is cleaner now and their site is running faster. * The US government has arrested 130+ people for internet fraud, including HYIP scams. Hopefully this makes some of the scammers think twice before they open an HYIP for the purpose of scamming individuals * Omega-Invest has been caught for hacking netpay accounts. It is advised for you to stay clear of them. * GoldKeeper's admin has been caught cheating his rating at both GoldGames.org, and Gamesofgold.com. His program has been removed from both. If he's cheating his own program, who knows if he will cheat you. * Gold-Storage's website has been copied almost exactly by the admin of Golden-Academy. Both these sites look exactly alike. However Gold-Storage created the design, and Golden-Academy blatantly copied it. I'd recommend staying away from copycat sites like Golden-Academy. * Bonded Investing is almost all the way back up and running. Give it a few days and it should be back to where it left off at.
